Hello and Welcome, I created this blog to give musicians and fans a chance to talk about and discuss their love for the blues. This blog will give us a chance to talk about up coming musicians, guitars, amps and effects, and anything else related. I would like to keep this blog going so I am going to post new topics every other day. Thank You " Clapton is God "
The Stones, just the epitome of a rock and roll band.
ReplyDeleteI like both groups.

I gotta say The Stones They were a bit edgier. But they did make the music Die.... heck I vote for Buddy holly lol
ReplyDeleteFor song writing ability... gotta go Beatles. For "Blues" based rock, very few have done it as well as the Stones! Good luck with the blog!
ReplyDeletepzout, doc
Get yer ya's ya's out...for me, is the best Rock n Roll album. Sgt Peppers is one of the best Studio album. I like it when the Stones do a Beatles number.

Well, the Beatles are in a class all their own, but there was one band that could outrock the Stones in their prime - The Faces. Let's be honest, there was a reason why the Stones stole Ronnie Wood and Ian McLagan from them. Just a few tunes are enough to convert anyone. "Miss Judy's Farm," "Stay With Me," "Cindy Incidentally," "I'm Losing You," the list goes on. Check 'em out on YouTube. Their lead singer had a decent career after they split up, but he's not really worth listening to any more. LOL

its got to be the beatles for me, rubber soul is one of my all time favourite albums, every track on there is a master-piece,their song writing skills were phenomenal
ReplyDeleteThe Beatles had a lot more creativity, hence their (relatively) early demise. The Stones are a rock/blues/funky machines that turns out some great music, but they didn't change the face of music the way the boys from Liverpool did.
ReplyDeleteThe Beatles were the ones you'd bring home to meet your parents, the Stones were the guys you really wanted to hang out with.
ReplyDeleteBoth great in their own way. 50/50 either side.
ReplyDeleteWow guys thanks for the support!!!
ReplyDeleteAlthough I like both bands I do prefer the stones over the beatles!!!
Let It Bleed is one of my favorite albums, and the Mick Taylor years of the Stones were just brilliant, pure British Blues.
Stones! I can't really find anything wrong with the Beatles, but I'm just a bigger fan of the Stones.
ReplyDeleteThe Beatles, try NOT singing along to every one of their songs!!!!
ReplyDeleteHas to be the Beatles! Sixth grade math class 1965. Myself and a couple friends would get up in front of the class and sing a Beatles tune every Friday. Those were the days.
